The Science Centre was founded by the University of Tartu, the Ministry of Education and Research and the City of Tartu. AHHAA's main mission is to promote science to the public. The conference dinner will be a three-course dinner. The event also includes live music from the band called Curly Strings. The band consists of four good friends who all play an instrument: the violin, mandolin, guitar and double bass. Their main music style is bluegrass. Have a sneak peak of their music HERE.

The number of participants became too large for the University of Tartu Botanical Garden, so the new venue is across the bridge from it on the banks of the Emajõgi River in the Delta Centre. Enter from the river's side where you see the terrace. You are still welcome to visit the Botanical Garden, the outside section is free of charge and open until 21:00. Snacks and drinks will be served.
Please note that this is a partly open-air event so please check the weather forecast beforehand and dress appropriately.
WELCOME RECEPTION

Lodjakoda (barge hall) is a one-of-a-kind venue in Tartu. It is a home for a group of enthusiasts who renovate historical ships. The welcome reception will take place in the rooms where they renovate the ships so you can have a look at the real workshop. If you are lucky enough, you can see two wooden barges in the dock and have a closer look at these. The venue is a short walk away from the city centre along the river Emajõgi and is situated on the banks of the river near a beach. Snacks and drinks will be served.
The event also includes live music from the band called Zetod. Zetod is an Estonian traditional music and folk rock group consisting of five young men from Setomaa County. Have a sneak peak of their music HERE.
