The University of Tartu Botanical Garden has been in continuous operation on the same site for 220 years. It has a rich history and is an exceptionally species-rich area - nearly 10,000 plant species and varieties from different climates around the world grow on 3.2 hectares. For more than two centuries, human hands have turned the Botanical Garden in the heart of Tartu into a wonderful refuge worth visiting at any time of the year. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Lodjakoda (barge hall), 19:00-23:00

Lodjakoda (barge hall) is a one-of-a-kind venue in Tartu. It is a home for a group of enthusiasts who renovate historical ships. The welcome reception will take place in the rooms where they renovate the ships so you can have a look at the real workshop. If you are lucky enough, you can see two wooden barges in the dock and have a closer look at these. The venue is a short walk away from the city centre along the river Emajõgi and is situated on the banks of the river near a beach. Snacks and drinks will be served.

The Science Centre was founded by the University of Tartu, the Ministry of Education and Research and the City of Tartu. AHHAA's main mission is to promote science to the public. The mission of AHHAA is to develop a knowledge-based mindset by providing the joy of discovery. AHHAA's four core values are knowledge, excitement, professionalism and friendliness.

The conference dinner will be a three-course dinner with live music.
